Master Cleanse Day 8 and 9

Day eight was hell. I had a headache all day and felt hungry. I spent some of the day cleaning the closets. I also felt more cold than usual. I was so cold I wore a thermal shirt. Last night I was cold from the inside out. I sat on my recliner with a blanket and watched TV. My secret life was doing a series of shows. I watched Sliders afterwards and then fell asleep. My cats slept on my lap. Something unusual happened. Bandit and Madam Queen both sat on my lap without fighting. That kept me alert because I didn't want a war on my lap. Bandit was there first then Madam jumped on my lap. Bandit didn't run away and Madam didn't attack him.

Day nine I felt a little better. I am also going to go off this fast on Sat. day 10. I am going to make my soup that was was dreaming of. I weighed myself this morning. I am not happy with the results. I only lost 5 pounds. Other people on this had better results. I am going to make my soup Saturday morning and enjoy it Sat. for dinner. I will buy oranges for my breakfast tomorrow morning. That will be nice for a change. I was cleaning out my cabinets where I store my grains and beans.
I can't wait to make bread with my organic flours. The so called healthy breads in the stores are processed for a longer shelf life. The only real organic bread is Ezekial bread.
http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?_adv_prop=image&fr=yhs-w3i-defalttabtransfer&va=ezekiel+bread Still whole grain in the stores are better than white bread.
I am more of a carboholic than anything else.

Master Cleanse Day 6 and 7

Day 6 I have been thinking about food all the time.
This is strange but I have been imagining the smell of onions and soup.
 I am really smelling this.
The mind is a powerful thing. I went to the book store to browse the books and buy an astrology calendar.
I bought the astrology calendar. I spent the rest of my time looking at cookbooks. The foods I have been craving are salads and veggies.
When I come off this fast, I will give up dairy. All those hormones they give to cows is not healthy.
Maybe not all dairy but cut down a lot.
I will be doing a lot of low cal healthy cooking.
I did some walking. Day 6 was not so bad energy wise.
I don't know if I can do the whole 10 days. I am taking one day at a time.

Day 7 I am not feeling hungry today.
I cleaned the frig of the food that is going bad.
I have put a lot in the freezer. I got Omaha steaks for Christmas.
I am glad I am not a vegetarian. I am going to enjoy those steaks in moderation. There are also hot dogs and hamburgs. There are also stuffed potatoes.
Like I said all in moderation. The cake will be given away.
Yesterday I was imaging food smells. I need some of that today.

Master Cleanse Day 4 to 6

I am still on this master cleanse. I plan to stay on it until New Years day.
On New Years I will make a nice delicious vegetable soup with carrots, tomatoes, spinach, and onions. I will be eating more healthy food and keeping a journal. I hope to lose 15 pounds in January.
I also plan to go to the gym and work out more.
You can see I am thinking about food all the time. I am drinking all kinds of decaf teas.
I think the lemons are making me thirsty. I have been drinking more water than usual.

Day 2 and 3

Day 2- I am feeling very tired. I think I am withdrawing from coffee. I have been drinking tea all day. I am feeling sick to my stomach and have a headache. I am not hungry as I have been drinking the lemonade. I stayed in the house all day. I also spent a lot of time in the bathroom.

Day 3- I am feeling much better today. I went shopping and feel a lot more energized and calm. My cat Madam Queen broke my favorite measuring glass that I use for measuring my maple sugar. I will have to buy another tomorrow. I have been drinking a lot of different teas to keep away the boredom of same old same old. I am not hungry, but think of food a lot. I will post again tomorrow.

The Master Cleanse

This is my first day of the Master Cleanse. I will be on it for 10 days hopefully. I am doing this to alkalize my body.
http://therawfoodsite.com/master-cleanse/
This is the site that gives more information. I drink the lemonade every 4 hours to keep my metabolism up and keep the hunger pangs away. It has been one full day.
My blood sugar is normal. I have been testing it. As for my weight. It is 160 that is too much for my height. I could stand to lose 20 pounds, but it won't be done on a 10 day cleanse. Once I finish my cleanse I will do a sensible diet with exercise.

I will be posting this every day. I hope I can last until Dec 30, the last day of the fast.

History

  • Created by Stanley Burroughs in 1941, the Master Cleanse Diet has also been dubbed "the lemon cleanse," "the celebrity cleanse" and "the maple syrup diet." It was originally created as a detoxification procedure. It lasts about 10 days and rids the human body of harmful toxins and reduces body weight at the same time. It started a fad of detox diets that have lasted up through current times, peaking in 2003 to 2007. There has been much controversy over the diet, and not much has been proved about it besides quick weight loss and the flushing of toxins.

Function

  • The Master Cleanse Diet has been utilized for decades by celebrities, people wanting to lose weight quickly for special events, people desiring a "spiritual connection" with their bodies, and those wanting to quit a vice such as smoking, eating junk food, drinking alcohol or caffeine, or using drugs. It is used as a detox to rid the body of things such as hormones, prescription drugs, pesticides, food additives and other substances that may be toxic to the body and its organs, such as the liver and kidneys. It has recently most commonly been used as a weight loss method, especially since well-known celebrities have celebrated publicly how convenient it is for weight loss. It is not recommended by medical doctors for weight loss, and some experts say that any weight lost by The Master Cleanse Diet will be gained back in time.

Process

  • The Master Cleanse Diet consists of drinking only fresh lemon or lime juice mixed with cayenne pepper, maple syrup and water. Over the course of the cleanse, which can last a minimum of 10 days to a maximum of 30, you consume only this beverage numerous times a day (on average, four) and eat no solid foods. It is recommended to drink a senna or colon cleansing tea every night to create regular bowel movements, since no solid food is taken into the body. After your desired time of the cleansing diet, you slowly incorporate food back into your diet, starting with juices, then adding soups. A day or two later, bring back vegetables into your diet, then fruit, then nuts. Slowly incorporate more nutritional food of larger and solid value into your diet and your weight should stay off, and your body should stay toxin-free for the most part. If you originally did the diet just to lose weight for a special occasion and start eating toxic and unhealthy food after, it can be very hard and unhealthy for your digestive system and body.

Effects

  • Negative side effects include headaches, dehydration, cravings (which can be distinguished from hunger if you are craving unhealthy foods), irritability, tiredness (because your body is using a lot of energy to heal and cleanse), hot bowel movements (because you are eliminating toxins) and physical aches, pains or vomiting (which occurs only in extremely toxic people). Positive effects include quick weight loss and an amount of toxins flushed out of the body. People who have had success on the Master Cleanse have reported that it has overall increased their energy and health, assisted them in losing unwanted weight, increased sexual stamina, cleared up acne and sharpened vision. Some users have even claimed that the diet has helped chronic conditions or even cured disease, however this is not confirmed by medical doctors.

Theories/Speculation

  • Healthy people do not need to participate in detox diets, such as The Master Cleanse, because the body is normally programmed to get rid of toxins in the body, lungs, liver and kidneys on a daily basis. Medical doctors have supported that this diet has no proven effects besides weight loss. Also, using the diet for an extended period of time can deprive the body of essential vitamins and minerals, and provide far less calories than necessary for normal body function. However, it is possible that the complete flush of the systems can rid the body of harmful bacteria regardless, while keeping the good bacteria and providing some nutrients from the ingredients. In the end, there is no scientific or medical research that backs up The Master Cleanse Diet, although some doctors do distribute it it to patients.

Doctors Have a License to Kill.Who is Lanza's doctor?

Lanza, Bloomberg, Obama, guns, psychiatric meds, and mass hypnosis in Newtown, Connecticut

Mayor Bloomberg is leading the charge to take away guns in the wake ...
of the Newtown child murders. The pressure is on.

Apart from grandstanding, which Bloomberg knows how to do, this is all about deflection from the main event: the killer himself.

Last night, I watched network coverage, wherein, of course, the anchors were in Newtown, standing on the street, “trying to make sense of the whole thing.”

If they’re so interested, along with the public, in figuring out why Adam Lanza killed all those children, you would think, with their enormous resources, they would find out who Lanza’s doctor-psychiatrist was in five minutes and ask him about his patient.

Of course, that’s sacred ground. Patient-doctor confidentiality.

Except the patient is dead.

So much for the networks wanting to know who Adam Lanza really was. It’s all a sham. They just want to keep asking the question over and over, pretending to be in the dark about the whole thing.

They want to “deepen the mystery” and emphasize how futile it is to get into the mind of a killer. They’ve got that rap down. They use it every time one of these mass murders happens.

They know about the psychiatric-drug connection to murders and suicides. But they won’t say the magic words. They’ll just keep biting their tongues.

And “out of respect for the victims,” the drug companies aren’t running ads anywhere near this media coverage. Translation: the companies don’t want to encourage the public to make the connection between meds and murder.

Prozac, murder. Zoloft, murder. Paxil, murder. Ritalin, murder.

Bloomberg is playing the shill for new gun control. He’s the point man of the moment, insisting “the president do something meaningful” right now. It’s an orchestrated little play.

“Let’s ask Michael Moore what he thinks.”

“Oh good, Rupert Murdoch is weighing in against guns.” Yes, he’s providing the “balanced” in “fair and balanced,” so people stop associating FOX News with “right-wing gun advocates” for a few hours.

And the Boston mayor is chiming in, too.

Meanwhile, the public is under the spell of mass hypnosis. Can’t stop watching the tube. Never stops to think, “Hey, why don’t they put Lanza’s doctor on the screen and have him talk about his patient?”

There are other elements of this mass trance. People bolster their belief that what happens in life is out of their hands. “See, it’s just like I thought. We have no power. I have no power. All we can do is grieve and try to heal. Light a candle.”

Notice another odd thing. No one in the tightly bound Newtown community is saying, “We’ve got to get to the bottom of this. We’ve got to find out what this killer was.” If they are saying it, you’re not seeing it on camera.

The people of Newtown can find out in an hour who Lanza’s doctor was. They can march right up to his office or house and knock on the door and tell him to come out and talk.

Why don’t they do it?

They’re still in shock, yes. But they’re also in a hypnotic state, when it comes to doctors. Don’t question the high priest in the white coat. He lives in a different sphere from the rest of us.

Ignorance=grief=healing=being a good citizen.

Here’s a phrase you’re hearing all over the tube from politicians and officials. “We have to come together.” What the hell does that mean? I even heard the police chief say it, in reference to “resolving what happened.” Garble. Pure garble.

No, “coming together” means giving up. It means abject helplessness. It means, above all, no outrage.

Have you see one person on television express outrage?

That’s verboten. They won’t allow that. Perhaps they’ll put a few citizens of Newtown on, if they want to say it’s time to take the guns away. A little bit of outrage on that score is all right.

Who knows? Maybe Newtown will become the center of a national movement to ban guns. Maybe a few PR agencies will tap in and go for it.

We’re looking at operant conditioning here. It’s acceptable to feel grief, confusion, pain. It’s acceptable to feel helpless. But outrage? No. That’s not in the playbook.

And the public, glued to their TV sets, absorbs the message. “This is the way I’m supposed to feel in the wake of one of these tragedies. This is what I can feel.”

And it’s all “in deference to the victims and their families.” That’s the capper. Anger is covertly being framed as an insult to the children who died.

This is the show we’re watching. It’s scripted and sculptured.

Part of mass mind control is defining for people what they can feel in a given situation. Left to their own devices, people feel all sorts of things. But because television is the sticky substance that binds the collective together, it becomes the counselor and teacher. It tells people how to experience an event.

It’s powerful. It parades people across the screen who suddenly have special status because they’re on the screen, because they’re being watched by millions. And those key characters, who get their thirty seconds and two minutes are proxies, who instruct the public about emotion, about range of allowable emotion.

This IS mind control.

It’s like an eight-year-old at a funeral. He doesn’t have a clue about what he’s supposed to do, what expression he’s supposed to have on his face, whether he’s supposed to say anything, where he’s supposed to stand, what he’s supposed to feel. So he looks around at the adults. He picks up their cues.

This is the public, watching television. Picking up cues from the citizens of Newtown USA. And those citizens are screened by the producers of the network news shows, before they’re brought on camera.

We’ve got a father who’s pissed off, who wants to go to the home of Lanza’s doctor and ask him questions? Forget it. Sorry, sir. Maybe we’ll get to you later.

The network anchors themselves exude an air of sober respect and somber “humanity.” That’s what they get paid for. Not everybody can do that and keep track of what’s being said in their ears by the producers. The somber tone is the money.

The anchors are the priests at the funeral, before the funeral happens. They set the stage. They convey to the public the meaning and atmosphere and essence of the whole event.

And having done that, there is simply no room for anything that would intrude on this sepulchral mood.

All this occurs while Barack Obama sits in the White House, conferring with his advisers, debating the political upside and downside of issuing an overriding executive order that would limit citizen access to guns.

“Sir, I think the sentiment, at this moment, would be a flood in your favor. This is the time. We’ve got all these dead children. Congress has refused to act in the past, so you do now. You take the whole matter into your own hands, as the nation’s leader in a time of crisis. Sir, you say, ‘Enough. We’ve had enough. All these children, cut off from the rest of their lives and from their loved ones. I refuse to stand by and do nothing.’ I tell you, sir, it would work. We can drum up enormous support from our people, our supporters, and from the press. They’ll say you’re showing great courage. We can pull it off. We can do this. It’ll set the whole stage for your second term. We’ll drown out the opposition…we’ll organize candlelight marches in the inner cities. Thousands, hundreds of thousands of people will come out of their homes and walk down the streets. Mothers holding photos of their dead children. The networks will be there in full force. We’ll put this on television 24/7, and overwhelm our enemies…”

Super Foods

One of the top requests we receive here at Natural News is superfood recipes. People want to know: How can I use organic, non-GMO ingredients to make delicious, affordable superfood meals and treats.

To help answer that question, we went into the Natural News kitchen and developed an incredibly delicious recipe for what we're calling "Gluten-Free Organic Blueberry Coconut Superfood Muffins."

Here's how to make this delicious recipe. Some of the ingredients are available from the Natural News Store. Others can be found at farmers markets or local grocery stores.

Preheat your over to 350 degrees (F) while you gather the following items:

Hint: Always choose organic where possible, as organic foods are grown without the use of toxic chemical pesticides and herbicides.

1 cup of coconut flour
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1/4 tsp of sea salt
5 free-range eggs
1/2 cup coconut butter (or oil)
1 cup coconut sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 cup almond milk
1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

Directions:

1. Mix 1/2 cup of almond milk with chia seeds and set it aside for 30 minutes.

2. Combine coconut flour, baking soda, baking powder, sea salt, vanilla, and coconut sugar and mix well.

3. Add eggs, coconut butter, chia seeds (the texture should be thick) and the rest of almond milk.

4. Blend in the frozen blueberries by hand, being careful not to crush the blueberries.

5. Pour this batter into paper muffin liners that you've placed in a muffin baking pan. Fill them completely.

6. Bake the muffins at 350 degrees (F) for 35 - 40 minutes, or until they are golden brown on the outside and completely cooked on the inside.
